How To Stay Motivated
It's not easy staying motivated when your halfway through what I call the .... "Hibernating at school" period. With exams coming up for myself and many others, staying motivated is vital skill that I hope I can help you master. Here are five simple steps to staying motivated.
1. Stay Hydrated. Researchers say that drinking water calms nerves (good tip if your in a test situation as well)
2. Have a cute designated workspace. Having adorable stationary makes you and your workspace happier, therefore motiving you to do your time without feeling overcrowded and un-interesting. With a designated workspace your at less of a risk of being distracted into crawling up in bed, and watch vlogs all day. (trust me you'll have time for that later!)
3. Structure your study. Plan what you will be studying specifically for each day/week so you keep organised and on track for success.
4. Give yourself a break. Reward yourself! whether it's a school report, a work assignment or exams that are forever creeping closer. Celebrate the small achievements because you can't do anymore than your best.
5. Think of the positives to come. Looking forward to things is sometimes what keeps me sane, whether it's a trip to Europe or a trip to the fridge, your hard work is what will get you there.
6. Remember that working is not your whole life. This one is probably the most important. I read somewhere online that "my current situation is not my final destination" enjoy the view, appreciate the journey instead of becoming obsessed with its destination
